And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, on Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

ἤρξατο οἰκοδομῆσαι ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δευτέρῳ ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ τετάρτῳ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ

And he began to build in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

And these were the things Solomon began to build the house of God: the length, the first measurement, was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

And the porch in front of the house, its length in front of the width of the house, twenty cubits, and its height one hundred twenty cubits; and he overlaid it inside with pure gold.

τὸν οἶκον τὸν μέγαν ἐξύλωσεν ξύλοις κεδρίνοις καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ καὶ ἔγλυψεν ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ φοίνικας καὶ χαλαστά

And he panelled the great house with cedar wood and overlaid it with pure gold, and engraved on it palm trees and chains

ἐκόσμησεν τὸν οἶκον λίθοις τιμίοις εἰς δόξαν καὶ χρυσίῳ χρυσίου τοῦ ἐκ Φαρουαιμ

And he adorned the house with precious stones for glory, and with gold, gold from Pharuim

And he overlaid the house and the walls and the gates and the roofs and the doorways with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls

And he made the house of the holy of holies, its length in front, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with pure gold, to cherubim, six hundred talents.

ὁλκὴ τῶν ἥλων ὁλκὴ τοῦ ἑνὸς πεντήκοντα σίκλοι χρυσίου καὶ τὸ ὑπερῷον ἐχρύσωσεν χρυσίῳ

And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold for the weight of one; and he overlaid the upper room with gold

ἐποίησεν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τῷ ἁγίῳ τῶν ἁγίων χερουβιν δύο ἔργον ἐκ ξύλων καὶ ἐχρύσωσεν αὐτὰ χρυσίῳ

And he made in the holy house of the holy of holies two cherubim, work of wood, and he overlaid them with gold.

And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits in length, and the one wing was five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub.

and the wing of the one cherub, five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing, five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub

and the wings of the cherubim, spread out, were twenty cubits, and they themselves were standing on their feet, and their faces were toward the house

ἐποίησεν τὸ καταπέτασμα ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου καὶ βύσσου καὶ ὕφανεν ἐν αὐτῷ χερουβιν

And he made the curtain of blue and purple and scarlet and fine linen, and he wove cherubim in it

ἐποίησεν ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ οἴκου στύλους δύο πήχεων τριάκοντα πέντε τὸ ὕψος καὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτῶν πήχεων πέντε

And he made before the house two pillars, thirty-five cubits in height, and their capitals five cubits.

And he made chains in the inner sanctuary and put them on the heads of the pillars, and he made a hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains

And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right and the one on the left, and he called the name of the one on the right Establishment and the name of the one on the left Strength
