and it shall be if the lawless one is worthy of blows, then you shall sit him down before the judges, and they shall flog him before them according to his lawlessness, by number
They shall flog him forty times; they shall not add. But if they should add to flog him beyond these blows, your brother will be dishonored before you.
And if brothers dwell together and one of them dies, and he has no seed, the wife of the one who has died shall not be outside for a man not drawing near; her husband’s brother shall go in to her and take her to himself as wife and dwell with her
But if the man does not wish to take his brother’s wife, then the woman shall go up to the gate, to the elders, and shall say, My husband’s brother does not wish to raise up the name of his brother in Israel; my husband’s brother was not willing.
And the wife of his brother shall come near before the elders, and she shall remove his sandal, the one from his foot, and shall spit in his face, and answering she shall say, Thus they shall do to the man who will not build up the house of his brother.
But if men fight together, a man with his brother, and the wife of one of them comes near to rescue her husband from the hand of the one striking him, and stretching out her hand she seize his private parts
A true and just weight shall be for you, and a true and just measure shall be for you, so that you may become long-lived upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
And it shall be, whenever the Lord your God gives you rest from all your enemies round about, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you by lot to inherit, you shall blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven, and you shall not forget.
