Exodus 25 — Rahlfs Septuagint

And you shall make for me according to all that I show you on the mountain: the pattern of the tent and the pattern of all its vessels; so you shall make it.

10

And you shall make an ark of testimony of incorruptible wood, two cubits and a half its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.

11

καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὴν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ ἔξωθεν καὶ ἔσωθεν χρυσώσεις αὐτήν καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῇ κυμάτια στρεπτὰ χρυσᾶ κύκλῳ

And you shall overlay it with pure gold, outside and inside you shall overlay it, and you shall make for it twisted golden mouldings all around

And you shall cast for it four golden rings, and you shall put them on the four sides: two rings on the one side, and two rings on the second side.

13

δὲ ἀναφορεῖς ξύλα ἄσηπτα καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὰ χρυσίῳ

And you shall make carrying poles of incorruptible wood, and you shall overlay them with gold.

14

εἰσάξεις τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς εἰς τοὺς δακτυλίους τοὺς ἐν τοῖς κλίτεσι τῆς κιβωτοῦ αἴρειν τὴν κιβωτὸν ἐν αὐτοῖς

And you shall bring the carrying poles into the rings that are on the sides of the ark, to lift the ark with them

τοῖς δακτυλίοις τῆς κιβωτοῦ ἔσονται οἱ ἀναφορεῖς ἀκίνητοι

The poles shall remain fixed in the rings of the ark.

16

ἐμβαλεῖς εἰς τὴν κιβωτὸν τὰ μαρτύρια ἃ ἂν δῶ σοι

And you shall put into the ark the testimonies that I may give you

17

ποιήσεις ἱλαστήριον ἐπίθεμα χρυσίου καθαροῦ δύο πήχεων καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ μῆκος καὶ πήχεος καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ πλάτος

And you shall make a mercy seat, a covering of pure gold, two cubits and a half its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth

ποιήσεις δύο χερουβιμ χρυσᾶ τορευτὰ καὶ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτὰ ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν κλιτῶν τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου

And you shall make two cherubim of hammered gold, and you shall put them on both ends of the mercy seat

19

And one cherub shall be made out of this side, and one cherub out of the other side of the mercy seat; and you shall make the two cherubim on the two sides.

20

The cherubim shall be stretching out the wings above, overshadowing with their wings over the mercy seat, and their faces toward one another, toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

21

ἐπιθήσεις τὸ ἱλαστήριον ἐπὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν ἄνωθεν καὶ εἰς τὴν κιβωτὸν ἐμβαλεῖς τὰ μαρτύρια ἃ ἂν δῶ σοι

And you shall put the mercy seat upon the ark above, and into the ark you shall put the testimonies which I shall give you.

and I shall be known to you from there, and I shall speak to you from above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, and according to all that I may command you for the sons of Israel

23

ποιήσεις τράπεζαν χρυσίου καθαροῦ δύο πήχεων τὸ μῆκος καὶ πήχεος τὸ εὖρος καὶ πήχεος καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ ὕψος

And you shall make a table of pure gold, two cubits its length and a cubit its width and a cubit and a half its height

ποιήσεις αὐτῇ στρεπτὰ κυμάτια χρυσᾶ κύκλῳ

And you shall make for it twisted golden molding all around.

25

ποιήσεις αὐτῇ στεφάνην παλαιστοῦ κύκλῳ καὶ ποιήσεις στρεπτὸν κυμάτιον τῇ στεφάνῃ κύκλῳ

And you shall make for it a border a handbreadth wide all around, and you shall make a twisted molding for the border all around

ποιήσεις τέσσαρας δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τοὺς δακτυλίους ἐπὶ τὰ τέσσαρα μέρη τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῆς

And you shall make four golden rings, and you shall put the rings upon the four parts of its feet.

τὴν στεφάνην καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δακτύλιοι εἰς θήκας τοῖς ἀναφορεῦσιν ὥστε αἴρειν ἐν αὐτοῖς τὴν τράπεζαν

under the border, and the rings shall be for holders for the poles, so as to carry the table with them

ποιήσεις τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτοὺς χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ καὶ ἀρθήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς ἡ τράπεζα

And you shall make the carrying poles of incorruptible wood, and you shall overlay them with pure gold, and the table shall be lifted by them.

29

And you shall make its dishes and its pans and its libation bowls and the cups with which you shall pour in them; you shall make them of pure gold.

30

ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὴν τράπεζαν ἄρτους ἐνωπίους ἐναντίον μου διὰ παντός

And you shall place on the table showbread before me continually

31

And you shall make a lampstand of pure gold; beaten work you shall make the lampstand; its shaft and its branches and its cups and its knobs and its lilies shall be of it.

32

And six branches going out from its sides, three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its second side

33

and three bowls shaped like almond blossoms on the one branch, a bulb and a lily, so for the six branches going out from the lampstand

ἐν τῇ λυχνίᾳ τέσσαρες κρατῆρες ἐκτετυπωμένοι καρυίσκους ἐν τῷ ἑνὶ καλαμίσκῳ οἱ σφαιρωτῆρες καὶ τὰ κρίνα αὐτῆς

and on the lampstand four cups made like almond blossoms in the one reed, its knobs and its lilies

a knob under the two reeds from it, and a knob under the four reeds from it; so for the six reeds going out from the lampstand

36

σφαιρωτῆρες καὶ οἱ καλαμίσκοι ἐξ αὐτῆς ἔστωσαν ὅλη τορευτὴ ἐξ ἑνὸς χρυσίου καθαροῦ

The knobs and the little shafts shall be of it, all of one hammered work, of one piece of pure gold.

ποιήσεις τοὺς λύχνους αὐτῆς ἑπτά καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τοὺς λύχνους καὶ φανοῦσιν ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸς προσώπου

And you shall make its lamps seven, and you shall put on the lamps, and they shall give light from the one face.

38

τὸν ἐπαρυστῆρα αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ ὑποθέματα αὐτῆς ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ ποιήσεις

And its snuffers and its trays you shall make of pure gold

39

τὰ σκεύη ταῦτα τάλαντον χρυσίου καθαροῦ

All these utensils, a talent of pure gold.

40

ποιήσεις κατὰ τὸν τύπον τὸν δεδειγμένον σοι ἐν τῷ ὄρει

See that you make according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain
