And it came to pass in the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the first month, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was taken, on that day the hand of the Lord came upon me, and he brought me.
In a vision of God, to the land of Israel, and he set me upon a very high mountain, and on it, as it were, the building of a city, opposite.
And he brought me in there, and behold, a man; and his appearance was as the appearance of shining bronze, and in his hand was a builder’s cord and a measuring reed, and he himself was standing at the gate.
And the man said to me, Have you seen, son of man? With your eyes see, and with your ears hear, and set in your heart all that I show you, because for the sake of showing you you have come in here, and you shall show all that you see to the house of Israel.
And behold, a wall all around outside the house, and in the hand of the man a measuring reed, six cubits by a cubit and a handbreadth; and he measured the outer wall, the breadth equal to the reed, and its height equal to the reed.
And he entered into the gate that looked toward the east, by seven steps; and he measured the porch of the gate, equal to the reed.
And the threshold, equal to the measuring reed in length, and equal to the measuring reed in width; and the porch between the side chambers, six cubits; and the second threshold, equal to the measuring reed in width and equal to the measuring reed in length; and the porch, five cubits.
And the third threshold was equal to the reed, the width, and equal to the reed, the length.

and a cubit gathered upon the face of the thickets on this side and on that side, and the booth was six cubits on this side and six cubits on that side
And he measured the gate from the wall of the house to the wall of the house, a width of twenty-five cubits; this gate was opposite gate.
And the court of the porch of the gate was sixty cubits; twenty cubits were for the gate all around.
And the open court of the gate outside, to the open court of the porch of the gate inside, was fifty cubits.
And there were hidden windows upon the tem and upon the halls, inward of the gate of the court all around, and likewise to the halls windows round about inward, and upon the hall were palm trees on this side and on that side
And he brought me into the inner court, and behold, chambers and colonnades all around the court, thirty chambers in the colonnades.
And the colonnades were along the back of the gates, according to the length of the gates, the peristyle underneath
And he measured the breadth of the court from the inner courtyard of the outer gate to the outer courtyard of the gate that looks outward, a hundred cubits, of the gate facing east; and he brought me in to the north.
And behold, a gate looking toward the north, to the outer court; and he measured it, both its length and its width.
and the three here and the three there, and its aisle and its aisle, and its palm trees; and it was according to the measures of the gate that faced toward the east: fifty cubits its length and twenty-five cubits its width
And its windows and its eilammō and its palm trees were according as the gate that looks toward the east; and by seven steps they went up to it, and its eilammō were inside.

And four tables of the burnt offerings, stone, hewn, a cubit and a half the width and two cubits and a half the length and a cubit the height; upon them they shall place the vessels in which they slaughter the burnt offerings and the sacrifices there.
And they shall have a palm-breadth, a carved molding inside all around, and upon the tables above roofs, for covering from the rain and from the dryness
And he brought me into the inner court, and behold, two chambers in the inner court, one at the back of the gate facing toward the north, turning toward the south, and one at the back of the gate facing toward the south, but toward the north.
And he said to me, This chamber that faces south is for the priests who keep the charge of the house.
And the chamber that faces toward the north is for the priests who keep the charge of the altar; those are the sons of Zadok, who draw near from Levi to the Lord to minister to him
