1
And it came to pass in the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the first month, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was taken, on that day the hand of the Lord came upon me, and he brought me.
3
And he brought me in there, and behold, a man; and his appearance was as the appearance of shining bronze, and in his hand was a builder’s cord and a measuring reed, and he himself was standing at the gate.
4
And the man said to me, Have you seen, son of man? With your eyes see, and with your ears hear, and set in your heart all that I show you, because for the sake of showing you you have come in here, and you shall show all that you see to the house of Israel.
5
And behold, a wall all around outside the house, and in the hand of the man a measuring reed, six cubits by a cubit and a handbreadth; and he measured the outer wall, the breadth equal to the reed, and its height equal to the reed.
7
And the threshold, equal to the measuring reed in length, and equal to the measuring reed in width; and the porch between the side chambers, six cubits; and the second threshold, equal to the measuring reed in width and equal to the measuring reed in length; and the porch, five cubits.
16
And there were hidden windows upon the tem and upon the halls, inward of the gate of the court all around, and likewise to the halls windows round about inward, and upon the hall were palm trees on this side and on that side
19
And he measured the breadth of the court from the inner courtyard of the outer gate to the outer courtyard of the gate that looks outward, a hundred cubits, of the gate facing east; and he brought me in to the north.
21
and the three here and the three there, and its aisle and its aisle, and its palm trees; and it was according to the measures of the gate that faced toward the east: fifty cubits its length and twenty-five cubits its width
23
And a gate of the inner court facing toward the gate of the north, according to the way of the gate that faces toward the east; and he measured the court from gate to gate, one hundred cubits.
40
And behind the ledge of the burnt offerings, of the one looking toward the north, were two tables toward the east, and behind the second and of the porch of the gate were two tables toward the east
42
And four tables of the burnt offerings, stone, hewn, a cubit and a half the width and two cubits and a half the length and a cubit the height; upon them they shall place the vessels in which they slaughter the burnt offerings and the sacrifices there.
44
And he brought me into the inner court, and behold, two chambers in the inner court, one at the back of the gate facing toward the north, turning toward the south, and one at the back of the gate facing toward the south, but toward the north.
46
And the chamber that faces toward the north is for the priests who keep the charge of the altar; those are the sons of Zadok, who draw near from Levi to the Lord to minister to him
48
And he brought me into the vestibule of the house, and he measured the column of the vestibule, five cubits its width on this side and five cubits on that side, and the breadth of the doorway, fourteen cubits, and the side posts of the door of the vestibule, three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side
