And he brought me out into the outer court toward the east, opposite the gate that was toward the north, and he brought me in, and behold, five chambers adjoining the remainder and adjoining that which was set apart toward the north.

And the passage in front of them was according to the measures of the chambers that were toward the north, and according to their length, and according to their width, and according to all their exits, and according to all their turns, and according to their lights, and according to their doorways.

And he said to me: The chambers that are toward the north and the chambers that are toward the south, which are opposite the spaces, these are the chambers of the holy place, in which the priests, the sons of Zadok, who draw near to the Lord, shall eat the most holy things there; and there they shall place the most holy things and the sacrifice and the sin offerings and the offerings for ignorance, because the place is holy.

They shall not enter there except the priests; they shall not go out from the holy place into the outer courtyard, so that the ones who bring near may be holy continually and not touch their adornment in which they minister in them, because they are holy; and they shall put on other garments when they touch the people

And the measuring of the house within was completed, and he brought me out by way of the gate that looks toward the east, and he measured the pattern of the house all around in order.
