And the number of the sons of Israel was like the sand of the sea, which shall not be measured out nor numbered, and it shall be in the place where it was said to them, You are not my people, there they shall be called sons of the living God.

And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel shall be gathered together to the same place, and they shall appoint for themselves one head, and they shall go up out of the land, for great is the day of Jezreel.

Say to your brother, Lo-ammi, and to your sister, Ruhamah

Contend with your mother, contend, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband; and I will remove her harlotry from before my face and her adultery from between her breasts.

so that I may strip her naked and restore her as in the day of her birth, and I will make her like a wilderness and set her as a waterless land and I will kill her with thirst

And I will surely not have pity on her children, because they are children of whoredom.

For their mother has gone whoring; she who bore them has been put to shame, for she said, I will go after my lovers, those giving me my bread and my water and my garments and my linens and my oil and all things that belong to me

Therefore behold, I am fencing in her way with thorns, and I will rebuild her paths, and she shall by no means find her track.

And she will pursue her lovers, and by no means will she overtake them; and she will seek them, and by no means will she find them; and she will say, I will go and return to my former husband, because it was well with me then rather than now.

And she did not know that I gave to her the grain and the wine and the oil, and I multiplied silver for her; but she made them into silver and gold things for Baal.

Therefore I will turn back and I will take away my grain at its time and my wine in its season, and I will remove my garments and my linens so as not to cover her shamefulness

And now I will uncover her uncleanness before her lovers, and no one shall by no means deliver her out of my hand.

And I will turn back all her joys, her feasts and her new moons and her sabbaths and all her assemblies.

And I will destroy her vine and her fig trees, of which she said, These are my wages, which my lovers gave me; and I will make them into a witness, and the wild beasts of the field and the birds of the sky and the creeping things of the earth shall eat them.

And I will punish upon her the days of the Baalim, in which she burned incense to them and put on her earrings and her necklaces and went after her lovers, but of me she forgot, says the Lord.

Therefore, behold, I will lead her astray and will set her into the wilderness, and I will speak to her heart.

And I will give her her possessions from there, and the valley of Achor, to open her understanding; and she shall be humbled there according to the days of her infancy, and according to the days of her ascent out of the land of Egypt.

And it shall be in that day, says the Lord, she will call me My husband, and she will no longer call me Baalim anymore.

And I will remove the names of the Baalim from her mouth, and they shall certainly no longer remember their names.

And I will make for them in that day a covenant with the beasts of the field and with the birds of the sky and with the creeping things of the earth, and bow and sword and war I will break from the land, and I will make you dwell in hope

And I will betroth you to myself forever, and I will betroth you to myself in righteousness and in judgment and in mercy and in compassions.

And I will betroth you to myself in faithfulness, and you shall know the Lord.

And it shall be in that day, says the Lord, I will answer the heaven, and the heaven shall answer the earth.

And the land shall heed the grain and the wine and the oil, and they shall heed Jezreel

And I will sow her for myself on the earth, and I will have mercy on Not-Pitied, and I will say to Not-My-People, You are my people, and he himself will say, Lord, you are my God.
