Jacob my servant, I will uphold him; Israel my chosen, my soul has accepted him; I have put my spirit upon him; he will bring forth judgment to the nations

He will not cry out, nor raise up, nor will his voice be heard outside.

A bruised reed he will not break, and smoking flax he will not extinguish, but in truth he will bring forth judgment.

He will shine forth and will not be broken until he put judgment on the earth, and in his name nations will hope

Thus says the Lord God, who made the heaven and fixed it, who established the earth and the things in it, and giving breath to the people upon it and spirit to those who tread it.

I am the Lord God; I have called you in righteousness, and I will hold your hand, and I will strengthen you, and I have given you for a covenant of a people, for a light of nations

to open blind eyes, to bring out those bound from bonds and those sitting in a house of prison in darkness

I am the Lord God; this is my name. My glory I will not give to another, nor my excellences to the graven images.

The things from the beginning, behold, they have come, and new things which I will declare; and before they spring up, they were made known to you.

Sing to the Lord a new hymn; his beginning. Glorify his name from the end of the earth, you who go down into the sea and sail it, the islands and those who dwell in them.

Let the wilderness and its villages be glad, the settlements, and let those who dwell in Kedar rejoice; those who dwell in Petra shall cry out from the tops of the mountains.

Let them give glory to God; in the islands let them proclaim his virtues

The Lord God of powers will go forth, and he will crush war; he will arouse zeal and will shout against his enemies with strength.

I have been silent; shall I indeed always be silent, and shall I endure? I have persevered like the woman giving birth; I will be beside myself and dry up altogether.

And I will make rivers into islands, and I will dry up marshes.

And I will lead the blind by a way that they did not know, and paths that they did not know I will make them tread; I will make darkness into light for them, and crooked things into straight; these words I will do, and I will not forsake them.

But they themselves have been turned back; be put to shame, with shame, you who trust in the carved images, who say to the molten images, You are our gods.

Hear, you deaf ones, and look up, you blind ones, to see.

And who is blind except my servants, and deaf except those ruling over them? And the slaves of God were blinded.

You have seen many times, but you did not keep watch; ears were opened, and you did not hear.

The Lord God was willing that he should be justified and magnify praise, and I saw

And the people became plundered and pillaged; for the snare is in the storehouses everywhere and in houses together, wherever they hid them, they became for plunder, and there was no one delivering; a spoil, and there was no one saying, Give back.

Who among you will give ear to these things, will listen to the things coming?

Who gave Jacob to plunder, and Israel to those who plunder him? Was it not God, against whom they sinned, and they were not willing to walk in his ways, nor to hear his law?

And he brought upon them the anger of his wrath, and war prevailed against them, and those who burned them around, and each of them did not know, nor did they lay it to heart
