συνάξω πάντα τὰ ἔθνη καὶ κατάξω αὐτὰ εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα Ιωσαφατ καὶ διακριθήσομαι πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ ὑπὲρ τοῦ λαοῦ μου καὶ τῆς κληρονομίας μου Ισραηλ οἳ διεσπάρησαν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ τὴν γῆν μου καταδιείλαντο
And I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will contend with them there for my people and my inheritance, Israel, whom they scattered among the nations and divided up my land.
ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν μου ἔβαλον κλήρους καὶ ἔδωκαν τὰ παιδάρια πόρναις καὶ τὰ κοράσια ἐπώλουν ἀντὶ οἴνου καὶ ἔπινον
And over my people they cast lots, and they gave the boys to prostitutes, and they sold the girls for wine, and they drank.
τί καὶ ὑμεῖς ἐμοί Τύρος καὶ Σιδὼν καὶ πᾶσα Γαλιλαία ἀλλοφύλων μὴ ἀνταπόδομα ὑμεῖς ἀνταποδίδοτέ μοι ἢ μνησικακεῖτε ὑμεῖς ἐπ᾿ ἐμοὶ ὀξέως καὶ ταχέως ἀνταποδώσω τὸ ἀνταπόδομα ὑμῶν εἰς κεφαλὰς ὑμῶν
And what also are you to me, Tyre and Sidon and all Galilee of foreigners? Or are you repaying me a recompense? Are you bearing a grudge against me quickly and swiftly? I will repay your recompense upon your heads.
ὧν τὸ ἀργύριόν μου καὶ τὸ χρυσίον μου ἐλάβετε καὶ τὰ ἐπίλεκτά μου καὶ τὰ καλὰ εἰσηνέγκατε εἰς τοὺς ναοὺς ὑμῶν
because you took my silver and my gold, and you brought my choice things and my good things into your temples
τοὺς υἱοὺς Ιουδα καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ιερουσαλημ ἀπέδοσθε τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν Ἑλλήνων ὅπως ἐξώσητε αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν
and the sons of Judah and the sons of Jerusalem you sold to the sons of the Greeks, so that you might drive them out from their borders
ἐγὼ ἐξεγείρω αὐτοὺς ἐκ τοῦ τόπου οὗ ἀπέδοσθε αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ καὶ ἀνταποδώσω τὸ ἀνταπόδομα ὑμῶν εἰς κεφαλὰς ὑμῶν
Behold, I am rousing them from the place where you sold them there, and I will repay your repayment upon your heads
ἀποδώσομαι τοὺς υἱοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας ὑμῶν εἰς χεῖρας υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἀποδώσονται αὐτοὺς εἰς αἰχμαλωσίαν εἰς ἔθνος μακρὰν ἀπέχον ὅτι κύριος ἐλάλησεν
and I will give over your sons and your daughters into the hands of the sons of Judah, and they will give them over into captivity, into a nation far away, because the Lord has spoken
ταῦτα ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἁγιάσατε πόλεμον ἐξεγείρατε τοὺς μαχητάς προσαγάγετε καὶ ἀναβαίνετε πάντες ἄνδρες πολεμισταί
Proclaim these things among the nations; consecrate war; rouse the warriors; bring them near, and let all the men of war go up.
Beat your plowshares into swords and your sickles into pruning hooks; let the weak say, I am strong.
Assemble yourselves and go in, all the nations from around, and be gathered there. Let the meek one be a warrior.
καὶ ἀναβαινέτωσαν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα Ιωσαφατ διότι ἐκεῖ καθιῶ τοῦ διακρῖναι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη κυκλόθεν
Let all the nations be roused and let them go up into the valley of Jehoshaphat, because there I will sit to judge all the nations round about.
δρέπανα ὅτι παρέστηκεν τρύγητος εἰσπορεύεσθε πατεῖτε διότι πλήρης ἡ ληνός ὑπερεκχεῖται τὰ ὑπολήνια ὅτι πεπλήθυνται τὰ κακὰ αὐτῶν
Send out sickles, because the vintage has stood ready; go in, tread, for the winepress is full, the vats overflow, because their evils have multiplied.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of judgment, for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of judgment
The sun and the moon will grow dark, and the stars will withdraw their brightness.
δὲ κύριος ἐκ Σιων ἀνακεκράξεται καὶ ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ δώσει φωνὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ σεισθήσεται ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ ὁ δὲ κύριος φείσεται τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνισχύσει κύριος τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ
But the Lord will cry out from Zion, and from Jerusalem he will give his voice, and the heaven and the earth will be shaken; but the Lord will spare his people and the Lord will strengthen the sons of Israel
ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ κατασκηνῶν ἐν Σιων ἐν ὄρει ἁγίῳ μου καὶ ἔσται Ιερουσαλημ πόλις ἁγία καὶ ἀλλογενεῖς οὐ διελεύσονται δι᾿ αὐτῆς οὐκέτι
And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who dwells in Zion, in my holy mountain; and Jerusalem shall be a holy city, and foreigners shall no longer pass through it.
ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀποσταλάξει τὰ ὄρη γλυκασμόν καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ ῥυήσονται γάλα καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἀφέσεις Ιουδα ῥυήσονται ὕδατα καὶ πηγὴ ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου ἐξελεύσεται καὶ ποτιεῖ τὸν χειμάρρουν τῶν σχοίνων
And it shall be in that day, the mountains shall drip sweetness, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the ravines of Judah shall flow with waters, and a spring shall go out from the house of the Lord and shall water the brook of the reeds.
εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἔσται καὶ ἡ Ιδουμαία εἰς πεδίον ἀφανισμοῦ ἔσται ἐξ ἀδικιῶν υἱῶν Ιουδα ἀνθ᾿ ὧν ἐξέχεαν αἷμα δίκαιον ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν
Egypt shall become a desolation, and Idumea shall become a field of desolation, because of the injustices of the sons of Judah, because they poured out righteous blood in their land
But Judea shall be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem to generations of generations
And I will avenge their blood, and I will surely not acquit, and the Lord will dwell in Zion
