And the heads of the families of the sons of Levi came near to Eleazar the priest and to Joshua the son of Nun and to the heads of the fathers’ houses from the tribes of Israel

And they said to them in Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in and the pasturelands for our livestock

And the sons of Israel gave to the Levites, in the distribution by lot, by command of the Lord, the cities and their pasturelands

And the lot came out for the people of Kohath, and it came to the sons of Aaron, the priests, the Levites, from the tribe of Judah and from the tribe of Simeon and from the tribe of Benjamin, by lot, thirteen cities.

And to the sons of Kohath who were left from the tribe of Ephraim and from the tribe of Dan and from the half-tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

And to the sons of Gershon, from the tribe of Issachar and from the tribe of Asher and from the tribe of Naphtali and from half of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

And to the sons of Merari, according to their clans, from the tribe of Reuben and from the tribe of Gad and from the tribe of Zebulun, by lot, twelve cities

And the sons of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their surrounding lands, as the Lord commanded Moses, by lot.

And the tribe of the sons of Judah and the tribe of the sons of Simeon and from the tribe of the sons of Benjamin gave the cities, and they were called by name.

to the sons of Aaron, from the clan of Kohath, from the sons of Levi, because to these the lot fell

And he gave them Kiriatharba, the metropolis of the Anakim; this is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, and the surrounding pasturelands around it

And the fields of the city and its villages Joshua gave to the sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh as a possession

And for the clans of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, those remaining from the sons of Kohath, there was a city from the borders of their inheritance from the tribe of Ephraim

And out of the tribe of Asher, Bessalan and its pasturelands, and Dabbon and its pasturelands

and Helkath and its pasturelands, and Rehob and its pasturelands, four cities

And from the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Kedesh in Galilee and its pasturelands, and Hammoth and its pasturelands, and Kartan and its pasturelands, three cities.

All the cities of Gedsōn according to their clans, thirteen cities.

and to the people of the sons of Merari, to the Levites, the rest, from the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, Maan and its pasturelands, and Kadesh and its pasturelands

and Demna and its outskirts and Sella and its outskirts, four cities

And the Lord gave them rest round about, according as he swore to their fathers; no one stood up before them from all their enemies; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands.

Not one of all the good words which the Lord spoke to the sons of Israel failed; all came to pass.
