When the righteous are praised, peoples will rejoice; but when the ungodly rule, men groan.
A father of a man loving wisdom rejoices, but he who feeds prostitutes will destroy wealth.
A righteous king raises up a land, but a lawless man tears down it.
He who prepares a net against the face of his own friend wraps it with his own feet
For a sinning man there is a great trap, but the righteous one will be in joy and in gladness.
The righteous knows how to judge for the poor, but the ungodly will not understand knowledge, and there is no discerning understanding for the poor.
Pernicious men have set a city on fire, but wise men have turned back wrath.
A wise man judges nations, but a worthless man, when angry, is laughed at and does not terrify.
Men of blood will hate the pious man, but the upright will seek out his life.
A fool brings out all his anger, but a wise man stores it up by turns.
When a king listens to an unjust word, all who are under him are lawless.
When lender and debtor come together, the Lord makes oversight of both.

Those who feared and were shamed by men were tripped up, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be glad; ungodliness gives a man a stumbling, but whoever has trusted in the Master will be saved.
Many serve the faces of rulers, but from the Lord comes the just thing for a man.
An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but the way that is straight is an abomination to the lawless.
