I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will declare all your wonders.
I will rejoice and be glad in you; I will sing to your name, Most High
When my enemy turns back, they will grow weak and perish from before your face.
For you have accomplished my judgment and my cause; you sat on the throne, O you who judge righteousness.
You rebuked the nations, and the impious one has perished; their name you have blotted out forever and to the age of the age
The swords of the enemy have failed utterly, and you have torn down cities; their memorial has perished with a noise.
And the Lord abides forever; he has prepared his throne for judgment
And he himself will judge the inhabited world in righteousness; he will judge peoples in uprightness.
And the Lord became a refuge for the poor, a helper in times of affliction
And let those who know your name hope in you, because you have not forsaken those who seek you, O Lord
Sing to the Lord, who dwells in Zion; proclaim among the nations his deeds.
For he who seeks out their bloods remembered; he did not forget the cry of the poor.
Have mercy on me, O Lord; see my humiliation from my enemies, you who lift me up from the gates of death.
ἂν ἐξαγγείλω πάσας τὰς αἰνέσεις σου ἐν ταῖς πύλαις τῆς θυγατρὸς Σιων ἀγαλλιάσομαι ἐπὶ τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου
so that I may proclaim all your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will exult in your salvation
The nations have been ensnared in the destruction that they made; in this trap that they hid, their foot has been caught.
The Lord is known, making judgments; in the works of the hands of him, the sinner was caught. A song of interlude.
Let the sinners be turned back into Hades, all the nations that forget God
For the poor will not be forgotten forever; the endurance of the needy will not perish forever.
Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before you.
Set, O Lord, a legislator over them; let the nations know that they are men. Selah.
Why, Lord, have you stood far off; you overlook in times of opportunity, in affliction?
In the pride of the ungodly the poor is set on fire; they are caught in the plots which they devise
For the sinner is praised in the desires of his soul, and the one who does wrong is blessed.
The sinner provoked the Lord according to the abundance of his anger; he will not seek; God is not before him.
His ways are defiled at every time; your judgments are taken away from before his face; he will lord it over all his enemies.
For he said in his heart, I shall not be moved from generation to generation without evil.
whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness and deceit; under his tongue are toil and pain
He sits in ambush with the rich in secret places to kill the innocent; his eyes look intently upon the poor.
He lies in wait in a hiding place like a lion in his lair; he lies in wait to seize a poor man, to seize a poor man when he draws him in.
In his snare he will bring him low; he will crouch and fall when he has mastered the poor.
For he said in his heart, God has forgotten; he turned away his face so as not to see to the end.
Arise, O Lord God; let your hand be exalted; do not forget the poor.
Because of what did the ungodly provoke God? For he said in his heart, He will not seek out.
You see that you observe toil and anger, to give them into your hands; to you therefore the poor one has been left; you were a helper to the orphan.
Break the arm of the sinner and evil one; his sin shall be sought and shall by no means be found because of it.
The Lord will reign for ever and ever; you will perish, nations, from his land.
The desire of the poor Lord heard; to the preparation of their heart your ear gave attention.
to judge for the orphan and the humble, so that man may no longer continue to boast on the earth
