Text size:
Save me, O Lord, for the holy one has failed, for the truths have diminished from among the sons of men.
Each one spoke vanity to his neighbor; deceitful lips, in heart and in heart they spoke.
May the Lord destroy all deceitful lips and a boastful tongue
[The ones] who have said, We will magnify our tongue; our lips are with us; who is lord over us?
Because of the misery of the poor and because of the groaning of the needy, now I will arise, says the Lord; I will set him in salvation, I will speak boldly in him
The sayings of the Lord are pure sayings, silver tried by fire, tested, purified in the earth sevenfold.
You, O Lord, will keep us and will preserve us from this generation and forever
The ungodly walk around; according to your exaltation you have highly regarded the sons of men.
