how he swore to the Lord, he vowed to the God of Jacob
If I shall enter into the tent of my house, if I shall go up onto the bed of my couch
if I give sleep to my eyes and slumber to my eyelids and rest to my temples
until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling for the God of Jacob
Behold, we heard of it in Ephratha; we found it in the fields of the woodland.
We will enter into his tabernacles; we will worship at the place where his feet stood.
Arise, O Lord, into your resting place, you and the ark of your sanctuary.
Your priests will clothe themselves with righteousness, and your holy ones will greatly rejoice
For the sake of David your servant, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.
The Lord swore to David in truth, and he will not annul it: from the fruit of your belly I will set upon your throne
If your sons keep my covenant and these my testimonies that I shall teach them, then their sons also shall sit on your throne forever.
For the Lord chose Zion; he selected her for a dwelling place for himself.
This is my rest forever and ever; here I will dwell, for I have chosen it.
Blessing I will bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her holy ones will rejoice with rejoicing.
There I will make a horn spring up for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed.
I will clothe his enemies with shame, but upon him my sanctification will flourish
