Give thanks to the Lord with a harp; sing to him with a ten-stringed psaltery.
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.
For upright is the word of the Lord, and all his works are in faithfulness.
He loves mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were established, and by the spirit of his mouth all their power.
gathering the waters of the sea like a wineskin, placing the abysses in treasuries
Let all the earth fear the Lord; from him let all who dwell in the inhabited world be shaken.
For he himself spoke, and they came to be; he himself commanded, and they were created.
The Lord scatters the plans of nations, but he nullifies the thoughts of peoples, and he nullifies the plans of rulers.
But the counsel of the Lord remains unto eternity, the thoughts of his heart unto generation and generation.
Blessed is the nation whose Lord is his God, the people whom he chose for his own inheritance
From heaven the Lord looked down; he saw all the sons of men.
From his prepared dwelling he looked upon all who dwell on the earth.
He who formed their hearts individually, he who understands all their works
A king is not saved by great power, and a giant shall not be saved by the abundance of his strength.
A false horse is for salvation, but by the multitude of his strength he will not be saved.
Behold, the eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear him, those who hope in his mercy
to deliver their souls from death and to keep them alive in famine
Our soul waits for the Lord, for he is our helper and defender.
because in him our heart will be glad, and in his holy name we have hoped
Let your mercy, Lord, be upon us, just as we have hoped in you.
