Lord, do not rebuke me in your wrath, nor discipline me in your anger.
For your arrows have been fastened in me, and you have firmly laid your hand upon me.
There is no healing in my flesh because of the presence of your anger; there is no peace in my bones because of the presence of my sins.
For my lawless deeds have gone over my head; as a heavy burden they were made heavy upon me.
My wounds have become foul and have rotted because of my folly
I was afflicted and bowed down to the end; all the day I was going about sullenly
For my loins are filled with mockings, and there is no healing in my flesh.
I was afflicted and brought low; I roared exceedingly because of the groaning of my heart.
Lord, all my desire is before you, and my groaning has not been hidden from you.
My heart was troubled; my strength left me, and the light of my eyes, and it is not with me.
My friends and my neighbors drew near opposite me and stood, and those nearest to me stood far away.
And those who seek my life acted violently, and those who seek evils for me spoke vanities and deceits; all the day they meditated.
But I was like a deaf man, I did not hear, and like a mute man not opening his mouth.
And I became like a man not hearing and not having reproofs in his mouth
For in you, Lord, I have hoped; you will hear, Lord my God.
For I said, lest my enemies should rejoice over me, and when my feet were shaken they spoke arrogantly against me.
For I am ready for scourges, and my pain is before me continually
For I will declare my lawlessness, and I will be anxious over my sin
But my enemies live and have been strengthened beyond me, and those who hate me unjustly have multiplied
Those who repay evils for good things slandered me, because I pursued righteousness, and they cast me away, the beloved, as if a dead man, abhorred.
Do not forsake me, O Lord my God; do not depart from me.
Give heed to my help, O Lord, my salvation
