4
And they went out and shut the door of the storeroom, and Tobias rose from the bed and said to her, Sister, rise up; let us pray and entreat our Lord, that he may show mercy and salvation upon us.
5
And he rose up, and they began to pray and to entreat that salvation might come to them, and he began to say, Blessed are you, O God of our fathers, and blessed is your name unto all the ages of the generation; let the heavens bless you, and all your creation, unto all the ages.
6
You made Adam, and you made for him as a helper, a support, Eve, his wife, and from both was the seed of men, and you said that it is not good for the man to be alone; let us make for him a helper like him
20
And he called Tobias and said to him, By all means do not move away from here for fourteen days, but stay here, eating and drinking with me, and you will gladden the soul of my daughter, who is afflicted with pain.
21
And as much as I have, take from here half, and go in health to your father, and the other half, when I and my wife die, it is yours. Take courage, child; I am your father, and Edna is your mother, and we are at your side, and your sister’s, from now on forever. Take courage, child.
