An utterance of the word of the Lord in the land of Hadrach and Damascus, his sacrifice, because the Lord watches over men and all the tribes of Israel

and Hamath in her borders, Tyre and Sidon, because they were very wise

And Tyre built fortifications for herself and amassed silver like dust and gathered gold like mud of the roads

Therefore the Lord shall inherit it, and he shall strike its power into the sea, and this shall be consumed in fire

Ashkelon shall see and shall fear, and Gaza and shall be in great pain, and Ekron, because she was put to shame over her transgression; and a king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall by no means be inhabited.

And foreigners shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will bring down the pride of the Philistines.

And I will remove their blood from their mouth and their abominations from between their teeth, and he also shall be left to our God, and they shall be as a commander of thousands in Judah, and Ekron as the Jebusite.

And I will station for my house a guard, so as not to pass through or return, and no longer shall an oppressor come upon them, for now I have seen with my eyes

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion; proclaim, daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your king is coming to you, righteous and saving, he himself, gentle and mounted on a beast of burden and a young colt

And he will destroy chariots from Ephraim and a horse from Jerusalem, and a war bow will be destroyed, and a multitude and peace from the nations, and he will rule over waters as far as sea and rivers to the ends of the earth

And you, by the blood of the covenant, you have sent forth your prisoners out of a pit having no water.

You shall sit in stronghold, prisoners of the assembly, and instead of one day of your sojourning I will repay you double.

For I have bent Judah for myself as a bow; I have filled Ephraim, and I will stir up your children, Zion, against the children of the Greeks, and I will handle you like the sword of a warrior.

And the Lord will be over them, and he will go forth like a lightning bolt, and the Lord Almighty will blow with a trumpet, and he will go in the whirlwind of his threat

The Lord Almighty will defend them, and they will devour them and trample them down with slingstones, and they will drink them up as wine, and they will fill the altar like bowls

And the Lord will save them in that day as his people, as sheep, because holy stones roll on his land

For if anything is good from him and if anything is beautiful from him, grain for young men and wine fragrant for virgins.
