And the rest of the words of Abiou, and all that he did, are they not, behold, written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abiou and between Jeroboam.
8
And Abiyou slept with his fathers in the twenty-fourth year of Jeroboam, and he is buried with his fathers in the city of David, and Asa his son reigned in his place.
13
And he removed Maacah his mother from being ruler, because she had made an assembly in her grove; and Asa cut down her covert places and burned them with fire in the brook Kidron.
18
And Asa took the silver and the gold found in the treasures of the house of the king, and he gave them into the hands of his servants, and King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad son of Tabrimmon son of Hezion, king of Syria, who dwelt in Damascus, saying,
19
Make a covenant between me and between you and between my father and your father. Behold, I have sent to you gifts of silver and gold. Come, break your covenant with Baasha king of Israel, and he will go up from me.
20
And Ben-hadad heard the king Asa and sent the rulers of his forces against the cities of Israel and struck Ijon and Dan and Abel-maacah and all Chinneroth, as far as all the land of Naphtali
22
And King Asa gave orders to all Judah: they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber, which Baasha had built; and with them King Asa built up all the hill-country of Benjamin and the watchtower.
23
And the rest of the words of Asa and all his might that he did, behold, these are not written in the book of the words of the days for the kings of Judah? Except in the time of his old age he was troubled in his feet.
29
And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he struck the house of Jeroboam, and he left not any breath of Jeroboam until he had utterly destroyed him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke by the hand of his servant Ahijah the Shilonite.
