And David said in his heart, saying, Now I shall be added in one day into the hands of Saul, and it is not good for me if I do not be saved into the land of the Philistines, and Saul will give up seeking me in every border of Israel, and I shall be saved out of his hand.
And David dwelt with Achish in Gath, he and his men, each one and his house, and David and both his wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelite and Abigail, the wife of Nabal the Carmelite
And David said to Achish, If indeed your servant has found favor in your eyes, let them surely give me a place in one of the towns in the country, and I will dwell there; for why should your servant dwell in a royal city with you?
