And all the work that Solomon made in the house of the Lord was completed, and Solomon brought in the holy things of David his father, the silver and the gold and the vessels, and he put them into the treasury of the house of the Lord.
Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the rulers of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the city of David, this is Zion.
And they brought up the ark and the tent of the testimony and all the holy vessels that were in the tent, and the priests and the Levites brought it up.
And King Solomon and all the assembly of Israel and those who were afraid and those who had been gathered of them before the ark, sacrificing calves and sheep, who could not be counted and who could not be reckoned because of the multitude.

And it came to pass, one voice in the blowing of trumpets and in the singing of songs and in the shouting with one voice to give thanks and to praise the Lord; and when they lifted up a voice with trumpets and with cymbals and with instruments of songs, and they were saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is forever; and the house was filled with a cloud of the glory of the Lord.
