3
And the survivors, those left from the captivity there in the land, said to me: in great evil and in reproach, and the walls of Jerusalem are torn down, and its gates have been burned with fire.
5
And I said, Do not now, O Lord, God of heaven, the strong, the great, and the fearful, keeping the covenant and the mercy with those who love him and with those who keep his commandments
6
Let your ear now be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant, which I pray before you today, day and night, concerning the sons of Israel, your servants; and I confess the sins of the sons of Israel, which we have sinned against you, I and my father’s house have sinned.
9
And if you turn back to me and keep my commandments and do them, even if your dispersion is from the end of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them into the place which I have chosen to cause my name to dwell there.
11
