And you shall go in there, and you shall see Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and you shall go in and raise him up from among his brothers, and you shall bring him into the inner room in the inner room.

and you shall take the flask of the oil and pour it on his head and say, Thus says the Lord: I have anointed you king over Israel, and you shall open the door and flee, and you shall not remain

And he rose and entered into the house, and he poured the oil upon his head and said to him, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: I have anointed you as king over the people of the Lord, over Israel.

And you shall utterly destroy the house of Ahab your lord from before me, and you shall avenge the bloods of my servants the prophets and the bloods of all the servants of the Lord at the hand of Jezebel.

And Jehu came out to the servants of his master, and they said to him, Is all well? Why did this madman come in to you? And he said to them, You know the man and his talk.

And Joram the king returned to be healed in Jezreel from the wounds with which the Syrians had wounded him when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Jehu said, If it is your mind with me, let no one go out from the city to escape to go and report in Jezreel.

And Jehu mounted and went and went down to Jezreel, because Joram king of Israel was being treated in Jezreel from the arrows with which the Arameans had shot him in Ramath in the war with Hazael king of Syria, because he was mighty and a man of power; and Ahaziah king of Judah had gone down to see Joram

And the watchman went up on the tower in Jezreel and saw Jehu’s dust as he was coming, and he said, I see dust; and Joram said, Take a rider and send before them, and let him say, Is it peace?

And a horseman went to meet them, and he said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? Turn behind me. And the watchman reported, saying, The messenger came even to them, and he did not return.

And Joram said, Harness up, and he harnessed the chariot, and Joram king of Israel went out, and Ahaziah king of Judah, each man in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and they found him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

And Jehu said to Badekar his third captain, Throw him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite, for I remember that I and you, riding behind Ahab his father, and the Lord took up this burden against him, saying:

Surely I saw yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons, says the Lord, and I will repay him in this portion, says the Lord. And now, take him up and throw him in this portion, according to the word of the Lord.

And Ahaziah king of Judah saw, and he fled by the way of Beth-gan; and Jehu pursued after him and said, And him too, and struck him in the chariot at the ascent of Gur, which is near Ibleam; and he fled to Megiddo and died there.

And they turned back and reported to him, and he said, The word of the Lord, which he spoke by the hand of his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel the dogs shall eat up the flesh of Jezebel
