And Jehosheba daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash son of her brother and stole him from among the sons of the king who were being killed, him and his nurse, in the storeroom of the beds, and she hid him from before Athaliah, and he was not put to death.

And in the seventh year Jehoiada the priest sent and took the captains of hundreds, the Chorr and the Rasim, and brought them to him into the house of the Lord, and made with them a covenant of the Lord, and swore them before the Lord, and Jehoiada showed them the son of the king

And you shall surround the king all around, each man and his weapon in his hand; and the one entering into the ranks shall die. And it was with the king in his going out and in his going in.

And the captains of hundreds did all that Jehoiada the prudent commanded, and a man took his men, those who were entering on the sabbath, with those who were going out on the sabbath, and he entered to Jehoiada the priest.

And the runners stood, each man and his weapon in his hand, from the right shoulder of the house to the left shoulder of the house, around the altar and the house, by the king all around.

And he brought out the king’s son and put upon him the crown and the testimony and made him king and anointed him, and they clapped the hand and said, Let the king live.

And she saw, and behold, the king was standing upon the pillar according to the ordinance, and the singers and the trumpets were toward the king, and all the people of the land rejoicing and blowing with trumpets; and Athaliah tore her garments and cried out, Conspiracy, conspiracy.

And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds, the overseers of the force, and said to them, Bring her out from within the ranks, and whoever enters after her shall surely be put to death with the sword, because the priest said, Let her not die in the house of the Lord.

And Jehoiada made a covenant between the Lord and between the king and between the people, for them to be a people to the Lord, and between the king and between the people.

And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and they tore it down, and his altars, and his images they shattered thoroughly, and Mattan the priest of Baal they killed before the altars, and the priest appointed overseers in the house of the Lord

And he took the captains of hundreds and Chorri and Rasim and all the people of the land, and they brought down the king from the house of the Lord, and he entered by the way of the gate of the runners of the house of the king, and they seated him on the throne of the kings
