You shall not, seeing your brother’s calf or his sheep wandering on the road, overlook them; by turning back you shall turn them back to your brother, and you shall restore them to him.

But if your brother does not draw near to you, nor know him, you shall gather them inside into your house, and they shall be with you until your brother seeks them, and you shall restore them to him

Thus you shall do with his donkey, and thus you shall do with his garment, and thus you shall do with every loss of your brother, whatever may be lost from him and you find; you shall not be able to disregard it.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his calf fallen on the road; you shall not ignore them, but you shall surely raise them up with him.

There shall not be a man’s equipment upon a woman, and a man shall not put on a woman’s robe, for everyone doing these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

But if you should meet a bird’s nest before you in the way, or on any tree, or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the mother is brooding over the young ones or over the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the children

You shall send out the mother by sending, but the young you shall take for yourself, so that it may be well with you and you may be long-lived.

And if you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, and you shall not bring bloodguilt on your house, if the one falling should fall from it.

You shall not sow your vineyard with a mixture, lest the produce and the seed that you sow together with the produce of your vineyard be consecrated.

You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.

You shall not wear mixed wool and linen together

You shall make tassels for yourself on the four corners of your cloak with which you cover yourself.

But if anyone takes a wife and lives with her and hates her

and may put against her defamatory words and bring down upon her an evil name and say, I took this woman, and having come near to her I did not find her virginity

And the father of the girl and her mother shall bring out the proofs of the girl’s virginity to the elders at the gate

And the father of the girl shall say to the elders, I gave my daughter this one to this man as a wife, and hating her

behold, he now lays against her pretexting words, saying, I did not find virginity in your daughter; and these are the virginity of my daughter. And they shall spread out the garment before the elders of the city.

And the elders of that city shall take that man and shall discipline him

And they shall fine him one hundred shekels and shall give them to the father of the young woman, because he brought out an evil name against a virgin of Israel; and she shall be his wife, he shall not be able to send her away all his time.

But if this word is true, and virginity is not found in the young woman,

And they shall bring out the young woman to the doors of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones, and she shall die, because she did folly in Israel, to prostitute the house of her father; and you shall remove the evil from among yourselves.

But if a man is found lying with a woman betrothed to a man, you shall put both to death, the man who is lying with the woman and the woman; and you shall remove the evil from Israel.

And if there be a virgin girl betrothed to a man, and a man find her in the city and lie with her,

You shall bring both of them out to the gate of their city, and they shall be stoned with stones and they shall die, the young woman because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he humbled his neighbor’s wife; and you shall remove the evil from among you.

But if a man find the betrothed young woman in the field and, overpowering her, lie with her, you shall kill the man who lay with her alone

And to the young woman you shall do nothing; there is in the young woman no sin of death, because as if a man should rise up against his neighbor and murder his life, so is this matter.

because in the field he found her; the betrothed young woman cried out, and there was no one to help her

And if someone finds a young girl, a virgin, who has not been betrothed, and after violating her lies with her, and it is found,

The man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty double drachmas of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he humbled her; he shall not be able to send her away all his time.
