1
And it shall be, when all these words, the blessing and the curse that I have set before you, shall come upon you, and you shall take them to heart among all the nations where the Lord may scatter you there.
9
And the Lord your God will make you abound in every work of your hands, in the offspring of your womb and in the produce of your land and in the offspring of your cattle, because the Lord your God will turn to rejoice over you for good, just as he rejoiced over your fathers.
10
if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep and to do all his commandments and his ordinances and his judgments, those written in the book of this law, if you turn back to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
16
if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his ordinances and his judgments, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in all the land into which you are entering there to inherit it
18
I declare to you today that by destruction you will perish and you will not at all remain long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you, into which you are crossing over the Jordan there to inherit it
19
I call to witness against you today the heaven and the earth: I have given before your face the life and the death, the blessing and the curse; choose the life, so that you may live, you and your seed.
20
to love the Lord your God, to listen to his voice, and to cling to him, for this is your life and the length of your days, for you to dwell on the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, to give to them
