And the Lord said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and you shall say to him, Thus says the Lord the God of the Hebrews: Send out my people, so that they may serve me.
Behold, the hand of the Lord will be on your livestock in the fields, both on the horses and on the draft animals and on the camels and on the cattle and on the sheep, a very great death
And I will make a distinction in that time between the livestock of the Egyptians and between the livestock of the sons of Israel; not one thing of all the things of the sons of Israel shall die.
And Pharaoh saw that nothing from all the cattle of the sons of Israel had died, and the heart of Pharaoh was not hardened, and he did not send away the people.
And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, saying, Take for yourselves handfuls full of soot from a furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward heaven before Pharaoh and before his servants.
and let there be dust over all the land of Egypt, and it shall be on the men and on the beasts, boils, blisters breaking out, both on the men and on the beasts and in all the land of Egypt
And he took the soot of the furnace before Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkled it toward heaven, and it became sores, boils bursting out on the men and on the beasts.
And the Lord said to Moses, Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and you shall say to him, Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews: Send out my people, so that they may serve me.
For at this time I am sending out all my visitations into your heart and into the heart of your servants and of your people, so that you may know that there is no other like me in all the earth.
Now therefore hurry to gather your livestock and all that is yours in the field, for all the men and the livestock, as many as may be found in the field and do not enter into a house, and the hail shall fall upon them, shall die.
And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch out your hand into heaven, and there will be hail upon all the land of Egypt, both upon the people and the cattle and upon every plant that is on the land.
And Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and the Lord gave voices and hail, and the fire ran over the earth, and the Lord rained hail on all the land of Egypt.
And there was hail, and the fire flaming in the hail; and the hail was very exceedingly great, such as had not happened in Egypt since the time a nation came to be upon it.
And the hail struck in all the land of Egypt, from man to beast, and every plant that was in the plain the hail struck, and all the trees that were in the plains the hail shattered.
Entreat then for me to the Lord, and let the voices of God and the hail and the fire cease from coming to be, and I will send you away, and you shall no longer continue to remain
And Moses said to him, As soon as I go out of the city, I will spread out my hands to the Lord, and the voices shall cease, and the hail and the rain shall no longer be, so that you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.
And Moses went out from Pharaoh outside the city and spread out his hands to the Lord, and the thunders ceased, and the hail and the rain did not pour down any more upon the earth.
But when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he continued to sin and made his heart and the hearts of his servants heavy
