And the Lord said to Moses, saying, Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and that of his servants, so that these signs might come upon them in turn.

so that you may recount in the ears of your children and to the children of your children how I mocked the Egyptians and my signs that I did among them, and you shall know that I am the Lord

And Moses and Aaron entered before Pharaoh and said to him, Thus says the Lord the God of the Hebrews: How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Send out my people, that they may serve me.

But if you are not willing to send out my people, behold, I am bringing at this time tomorrow a great locust swarm upon all your borders.

and it shall cover the face of the land, and you will not be able to look on the land, and it shall devour every surplus of the land that was left, which the hail left for you, and it shall devour every tree growing for you on the land

And your houses and the houses of your servants and all the houses in all the land of the Egyptians shall be filled, things which neither your fathers nor their forefathers have ever seen since the day they came to be on the earth until this day. And Moses, having turned aside, went out from Pharaoh.

And Pharaoh’s servants say to him, Until when shall this be to us a stumbling block? Send the men away, so that they may serve their God. Or do you wish to know that Egypt has perished?

And they brought back both Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh, and he said to them, Go and serve your God; but who and who are the ones going?

And Moses says, together with the young men and the elders, We will go with our sons and daughters and sheep and cattle; for it is a feast of the Lord our God.

And he said to them, Let it be so, the Lord be with you, as indeed I am sending you; do you not also see that your baggage is before you? for evil lies before you.

Not so; let the men go now, and serve God, for this is what you yourselves are seeking. And they drove them out from Pharaoh’s presence.

And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt, and let the locust come up upon the land and devour every plant of the land and all the fruit of the trees, which the hail had left behind.

And Moses lifted up the rod toward heaven, and the Lord brought a south wind upon all the land that whole day and that whole night; in the morning it came to be, and the south wind took up the locust.

And it came up over all the land of Egypt and rested over all the borders of Egypt, very exceedingly severe; before it there had not been such a locust, and after these things there shall not be so.

and it covered the face of the land, and the land was ruined, and it devoured every plant of the land and all the fruit of the trees that was left over from the hail; nothing green was left in the trees or in every plant of the field in all the land of Egypt

Then Pharaoh hurried to call Moses and Aaron, saying, I have sinned before the Lord your God and against you.

Now therefore accept my sin yet now, and pray to the Lord your God, and let him take away from me this death.

And Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed to God

And the Lord turned a very strong wind from the sea, and it carried up the locusts and cast them into the Red Sea, and not one locust was left in all the land of Egypt.

And the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not send out the sons of Israel.

And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand into heaven, and let there be darkness upon the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt.

And Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there came to be darkness, gloom, a storm over all the land of Egypt, three days.

And no one saw his brother for three days, and no one rose from his bed for three days; but for all the sons of Israel there was light in all the places where they were dwelling.

And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, saying, Go, serve the Lord your God, only let the sheep and the cattle remain behind, and let your baggage also go with you

And Moses said, But you also will give us burnt offerings and sacrifices, which we will do to the Lord our God.

And our livestock shall go with us, and we shall not leave behind a hoof, for from them we shall take to serve the Lord our God, and we do not know what we shall serve the Lord our God with, until our coming there.

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to send them away.

And Pharaoh says, Depart from me; take heed to yourself not still to add to see my face, for on whatever day you appear to me, you shall die.

And Moses says, You have spoken rightly: I shall no longer be seen by you face to face.
