1
And you, son of man, take for yourself a sharp sword, sharper than a barber’s razor; you shall acquire it for yourself, and you shall bring it upon your head and upon your beard, and you shall take a balance of weights and divide them.
2
The fourth you shall burn in fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled; and you shall take the fourth and burn it in its midst, and the fourth you shall cut with the sword round about it, and the fourth you shall scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.
6
And you shall say, My ordinances, to the lawless one from among the nations, and my statutes from among the countries round about her: because they rejected my ordinances, and in my statutes they did not walk; in them.
7
Therefore thus says the Lord: Because your disobedience was from the nations around you, and you have not walked in my statutes, and you have not done my ordinances, but neither have you done according to the ordinances of the nations around you.
12
A quarter of you shall be consumed by death, and a quarter of you shall be finished off by famine in your midst, and a quarter of you I will scatter to every wind, and a quarter of you shall fall by the sword all around you, and I will draw out a sword after them.
17
And I will send upon you famine and evil beasts, and I will punish you; and death and blood shall pass through upon you, and I will bring a sword upon you all around. I, the Lord, have spoken.
