And I saw, and behold, above the expanse over the head of the cherubim was like the appearance of a sapphire stone, the likeness of a throne upon them.
And he said to the man who was clothed with the robe, Enter into the midst of the wheels under the cherubim, and fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city; and he entered before me.
And the glory of the Lord went up from the cherubim to the inner court of the house, and the cloud filled the house, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord.
And it came to pass, while he was commanding the man clothed in the holy robe, saying, Take fire from the midst of the wheels, from the midst of the cherubim, that he went in and stood beside the wheels.
And he stretched out his hand into the midst of the fire that was among the cherubim, and took and gave into the hands of the one clothed with the holy robe, and he took and went out.
And I saw, and behold, four wheels were standing beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and the appearance of the wheels was like the appearance of a stone of coal.
When they went, to their four directions they went; they did not turn back in their going, because to whichever place the one head looked, they went and did not turn back in their going.
And when the cherubim went, the wheels went, and these beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to be exalted from the earth, their wheels did not turn back.
And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and they were lifted up from the earth before me, when they went out, and the wheels beside them; and they stood at the threshold of the gate of the house of the Lord, the one opposite, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
And the likeness of their faces, these are the faces that I saw underneath the glory of the God of Israel by the river of Chobar, and they themselves, each one according to their faces, were going.
