2
And the Lord said to me: This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall surely pass through it, because the Lord, the God of Israel, shall enter through it, and it shall be shut.
5
And the Lord said to me: Son of man, set it in your heart, and see with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I speak with you according to all the ordinances of the house of the Lord and according to all his statutes, and you shall set your heart to the entrance of the house, according to all its exits, in all the holy things.
7
in that you were bringing in foreign sons uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my holy things, and you were profaning them in your offering bread, fat, and blood, and you were transgressing my covenant in all your lawlessnesses
9
Therefore thus says the Lord God: no foreign son, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my holy things, among all the foreign sons who are among the house of Israel.
11
And they shall be in my holy things, ministering as gatekeepers at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house; these shall slaughter the burnt offerings and the sacrifices for the people, and these shall stand before the people to minister to them
12
because they ministered to them before the face of their idols and it became for the house of Israel a punishment of injustice; for this reason I lifted up my hand against them, says the Lord God
13
And they shall not draw near to me to serve as priests to me, nor to bring near to my holy things, the sons of Israel, nor to my most holy things; but they shall bear their disgrace, because of their wandering by which they wandered.
15
The priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept the keeping of my holy things when the house of Israel was wandering away from me, these shall come near to me to minister to me, and they shall stand before my face to offer to me fat and blood, says the Lord God.
17
And it shall be, when they enter the gates of the inner court, they shall put on linen garments, and they shall not put on wool, when they minister at the gate of the inner court
19
And when they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall take off their garments in which they minister in them, and they shall put them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments, and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.
24
And for a judgment of blood these shall stand to judge; they shall justify my statutes and judge my judgments, and my laws and my ordinances they shall keep in all my feasts, and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
25
And they shall not enter for the sake of the life of a man, to be defiled; but only for father and for mother and for son and for daughter and for brother and for his sister, who has not become a man’s wife, they shall be defiled
30
The firstfruits of everything and the firstborn of everything and all the heave offerings, from all your firstfruits, shall be for the priests; and you shall give the first of your dough to the priest, to place blessings on your houses.
