And a man will be hiding his words, and he will be hidden as from carried water, and he will appear in Zion like a river being carried, glorious in a thirsty land
And no longer will they be trusting in men, but they will give the ears to hear
And the heart of the faint will pay attention to hear, and the tongues that stammer will quickly learn to speak peace.
And they shall no longer at all say to the fool, Rule, and your servants shall no longer at all say, Be silent.
For the fool will speak foolish things, and his heart will understand vain things, to accomplish lawlessness and to speak error against the Lord, to scatter hungry souls and to make the thirsty souls empty.
For the counsel of the wicked devises lawless things, to destroy the lowly with unjust words and to scatter the words of the lowly in judgment.
But the devout have planned wisely, and this counsel will remain.
You women who are rich, arise and hear my voice; daughters who are in hope, hear my words.
In a year’s days, make remembrance in pain; with hope, the vintage has been consumed, the seed has ceased, and it shall by no means still come.
Tremble; be grieved, you confident women; strip yourselves, be naked; gird sackcloth on your loins.
And beat on the breasts for the desired field and for the produce of the vine.
The land of my people shall bring up thorn and grass, and from every house gladness shall be taken away, rich city.
Houses left deserted, wealth of the city; and desirable houses they will abandon, and the villages will be caves forever, a joy of wild donkeys, pastures for shepherds
until a spirit from on high come upon you, and Carmel shall be a wilderness, and Carmel shall be counted as a forest
Then judgment will rest in the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in Carmel.
And the works of righteousness will be peace, and righteousness will hold fast rest and confidence forever.
And his people will dwell in a city of peace, and will live securely, and will rest with wealth
And hail, if it should come down, will not come upon you, and those dwelling in the forests will be secure as those in the plain.
Blessed are those who sow beside all water, where ox and donkey tread.
