The Koine Bible

Awake, awake, Zion; put on your strength, Zion, and put on your glory, Jerusalem, the holy city. No longer shall the uncircumcised and unclean pass through you.

Shake off the dust and arise; sit, Jerusalem; put off the bond of your neck, captive daughter of Zion.

For thus says the Lord: You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed not with silver.

Thus says the Lord: My people went down formerly into Egypt to dwell there, and into Assyria they were led by force.

And now, why are you here? Thus says the Lord, because my people were taken for nothing; marvel and wail. Thus says the Lord, because of you my name is blasphemed among the nations continually.

Therefore my people shall know my name in that day, because I am he, myself, who speaks; I am present.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of one who brings good news, one who proclaims peace, one who brings good news of good things, because I will make your salvation heard, saying, Zion, your God will reign.

For the voice of those who guard you has been lifted up, and together they will be glad at the voice, for they will see eye to eye when the Lord has mercy on Zion.

Let the desolate places of Jerusalem break forth together into joy, because the Lord has had mercy on her and has delivered Jerusalem.

And the Lord will reveal his holy arm before all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation from God

Depart, depart, go out from there, and touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her; be separated, you who carry the vessels of the Lord

For you shall not go out with turmoil, nor shall you go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the Lord the God of Israel who gathers you.

Behold, my servant shall understand, and he shall be exalted and shall be glorified exceedingly

As many shall be astonished at you, so shall your appearance be dishonored by men, and your glory by men

So many nations shall marvel at him, and kings shall shut their mouth at him, because those to whom it was not announced concerning him shall see, and those who have not heard shall understand.
