Woe to the shepherds who are scattering and destroying the sheep of my pasture.

Therefore thus says the Lord against those shepherding my people: You scattered my sheep and drove them out, and you did not care for them. Behold, I will avenge on you according to your evil practices.

And I will gather the remnant of my people from every land where I drove them there, and I will set them in their pasture, and they shall increase and be multiplied

And I will raise up for them shepherds who will shepherd them, and they shall no longer fear nor be dismayed, says the Lord.

Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will raise up for David a righteous rising, and a king will reign and will understand, and he will do judgment and righteousness upon the earth

In his days Judah shall be saved and Israel shall dwell in safety, and this is his name which the Lord will call him: Josedec

Therefore, behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and they shall no longer say, As the Lord lives, who brought up the house of Israel out of the land of Egypt,

but the Lord lives, who gathered all the seed of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where he drove them there, and he restored them to their land

In the prophets my heart was broken within me, all my bones were shaken; I became like a man crushed and like a man held fast from wine, because of the face of the Lord and because of the face of the beauty of his glory.

For because of these the land has mourned, the pastures of the wilderness have dried up, and their course has become evil, and their strength not thus

For both priest and prophet have been defiled, and in my house I have seen their wickedness.

Therefore let their way become for them into a slipping in gloom, and they shall be tripped and shall fall in it; because I will bring evils upon them in the year of their visitation, says the Lord.

And in the prophets of Samaria I saw lawless deeds: they prophesied through Baal and led astray my people Israel.

And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen dreadful things, committing adultery and going in lies and strengthening the hands of evildoers, so that each might not turn back from his evil way; they became to me all as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah

Therefore thus says the Lord: behold, I will feed them with anguish and I will make them drink bitter water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem uncleanness has gone out into all the land

Thus says the Lord Almighty: Do not listen to the words of the prophets, for they are making vain a vision for themselves; they speak from their own heart and not from the mouth of the Lord.

They say to those who reject the word of the Lord, Peace will be to you; and to all who go according to their own desires, to every one who walks in the error of his heart, they said, No evils will come upon you.

For who has stood in the support of the Lord and seen his word? Who has given ear and heard?

Behold, a storm from the Lord and wrath goes out, rolling into a whirling upheaval; it will come upon the ungodly.

And the anger of the Lord shall no longer turn back until he has done it, and until he raises it up from the undertaking of his heart; in the last days they will understand them

I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.

And if they had stood in my stead and had heard my words, then they would have turned my people away from their evil practices.

Am I a God near at hand, says the Lord, and not a God far off?

Can a man hide in secret places, and I shall not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord

I have heard what the prophets say, what they prophesy in my name falsely, saying, I have dreamed a dream.

How long will it be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy false things, and in their prophesying the wishes of their heart?

who are devising to make my law forgotten by their dreams which they tell each one to his neighbor, just as their fathers forgot my name in Baal

The prophet with whom is a dream, let him tell his dream; and he with whom is my word, let him tell my word truly. What has straw to do with the grain? So are my words, says the Lord.

Are not my words like a burning fire, says the Lord, and like an axe cutting a rock?

Therefore behold, I am against the prophets, says the Lord God, those stealing my words, each from his neighbor

Behold, I am against the prophets who cast out prophecies of the tongue and who drowse a drowsing of their own.

Behold, I am against the prophets who prophesy false dreams and tell them, and they led astray my people by their lies and by their wanderings; and I did not send them, and I did not command them, and they will not benefit this people at all.

And if this people or a priest or a prophet ask you, saying, What is the burden of the Lord? then you shall say to them, You are the burden, and I will cast you off, says the Lord.

And the prophet and the priest and the people who shall say, The burden of the Lord, even I will punish that man and his house

For thus you shall say each one to his neighbor and each one to his brother, What has the Lord answered? and what has the Lord spoken?

And the burden of the Lord you shall no longer call it, for the burden shall be for the man his word.

And why has the Lord our God spoken?

Therefore thus says the Lord God: because you have said this word, “A burden of the Lord,” and I sent to you, saying, You shall not say, “A burden of the Lord,”

Therefore behold, I am taking and hurling you and the city which I gave to you and to your fathers

And I will give upon you everlasting reproach and everlasting dishonor, which shall not be forgotten
