At that time the Lord said, I will be for a God to the tribe of Israel, and they shall be to me for a people.

Thus said the Lord: I found one warm in the wilderness among those who have perished by the sword; walk and do not destroy Israel.
The Lord appeared to him from afar, I have loved you with everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you into compassion
Yet I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel; yet you shall take up your tambourine and go out with the gathering of those who dance.
Still plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; plant and praise.
For it is a day of calling of those pleading in the mountains of Ephraim; arise and go up to Zion, to the Lord our God
For thus said the Lord to Jacob: Be glad and neigh over the head of the nations; make it heard and praise; say, The Lord has saved his people, the remnant of Israel
Behold, I am bringing them from the north, and I will gather them from the farthest part of the earth at the feast of Passover, and she will bear a great multitude, and they will return here
With weeping they went out, and with comfort I will lead them back, lodging them by water channels, in a straight way, and they shall not be led astray in it, because I became to Israel as a father, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
Hear a word of the Lord, nations, and proclaim it to the farther islands; say, The one who winnowed Israel will gather him and guard him, as the one shepherding his flock.
For the Lord has ransomed Jacob, he has delivered him from the hand of those stronger than he.
And they shall come and be glad on Mount Zion, and they shall come to the good things of the Lord, to a land of grain and wine and fruits and livestock and sheep, and their soul shall be like a fruitful tree, and they shall not hunger any more
Then virgins shall rejoice in the assembly of young men, and elders shall rejoice, and I will turn their mourning into gladness, and I will make them rejoicing.
I will magnify and I will make drunk the soul of the priests, sons of Levi, and my people will be filled with my good things.
Thus said the Lord: A voice in Ramah was heard, of lamentation and weeping and mourning, Rachel weeping bitterly; she was not willing to cease over her sons, because they are not.
Thus said the Lord: let your voice cease from weeping, and your eyes from your tears, for there is a reward for your works, and they shall return from the land of their enemies.
a lasting one for your children
I have surely heard Ephraim lamenting: You disciplined me, and I was disciplined, like an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will turn, for you are the Lord my God.
For after my captivity I repented, and after my knowing I sighed for days of shame, and I showed you that I received reproach from my youth
A beloved son is Ephraim to me, a child giving delight; for because of what my words are in him, I shall surely remember him again. Therefore I hastened toward him; pitying I will have pity on him, says the Lord.
Set yourself up, Zion; make retribution; set your heart toward the shoulders, the way in which you went. Turn back, virgin Israel; turn back to your cities, mourning.
How long will you turn away, O dishonored daughter? For the Lord has created salvation for a new planting; in salvation men shall go about.
Thus said the Lord: Yet they shall say this word in the land of Judah and in his cities, when I turn back his captivity: Blessed be the Lord on the righteous mountain, his holy one.
And those dwelling in the cities of Judah and in all his land, together with the farmer, and it shall be taken away in a flock
For I have made every thirsty soul drunk, and every hungry soul I have filled.
Therefore I awoke and saw, and my sleep became sweet to me.
Therefore behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast
And it shall be, as I kept watch over them to pull down and to afflict, so I will keep watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord
In those days they shall not at all say, The fathers ate sour grapes, and the teeth of the children were set on edge.
But rather each one shall die in his own sin, and the teeth of the one who has eaten the sour grape shall be set on edge.
Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant.
not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day when I took hold of their hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord
For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I will surely give my laws into their mind and on their hearts I will write them, and I will be to them for God, and they shall be to me for a people.
and they shall by no means teach each one his fellow citizen and each one his brother, saying, Know the Lord, because all shall know me, from their small to their great, because I will be merciful to their injustices, and of their sins I shall by no means remember any longer
If the heaven is exalted into the heights, says the Lord, and if the ground of the earth is brought low beneath, I also will not reject the race of Israel, says the Lord, concerning all that they have done
Thus says the Lord, who gave the sun for the light of the day, the moon and the stars for the light of the night, and a roar in the sea, and its waves raged; the Lord Almighty is his name.
If these laws cease from before me, says the Lord, then the race of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me all the days.
Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and the city shall be built for the Lord from the tower of Hanameel to the Corner Gate
And its boundary shall go out opposite them as far as the hills of Gareb, and it shall be encircled all around with chosen stones
and all Aseremoth as far as the Wadi of Kidron, as far as the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be a sanctuary to the Lord, and it shall no longer at all fail, and it shall no longer at all be torn down, forever
