3
And they gave command to the people, saying, When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord our God and our priests and the Levites carrying it, then you shall depart from your places and go after it.
4
But let it be far between you and it, about two thousand cubits; you shall stand, do not draw near to it, so that you may know the way by which you go, for you have not gone the way since yesterday and the third day
6
And Joshua said to the priests, Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and go before the people. And the priests took up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and went before the people.
10
By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will surely destroy from before us the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Amorite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.
13
And it shall be, when the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth rest in the water of the Jordan, the water of the Jordan will fail, but the water going down will stand.
15
And as the priests who were carrying the ark of the covenant went into the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord were dipped in a part of the water of the Jordan, now the Jordan was full over all its bank, as in the days of wheat harvest
16
And the waters that came down from above stood; one heap stood far off, very far, at part of Kiriath-jearim, and the waters that went down went down to the sea of Arabah, the sea of salt, until at the end it failed; and the people stood opposite Jericho.
17
And the priests who were bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, and all the sons of Israel were crossing over on dry ground until all the people finished crossing the Jordan.
