1And the boundaries of the tribe of Judah according to their clans were from the borders of Idumea, from the wilderness of Sin as far as Kadesh, toward the south.

4and it goes to Asemon and it shall go out as far as the wadi of Egypt, and its border’s outgoings shall be to the sea; these are their borders from the south
5And the borders on the east side were all the Salt Sea as far as the Jordan, and their borders on the north, and from the slope of the sea, and from the part of the Jordan
6and the borders go up to Beth-hoglah and pass on from the north to Beth-arabah, and the borders go up to the stone of Bohan son of Reuben
7And the borders go up to the fourth part of the valley of Achor and go down to Gilgal, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is toward the south of the valley, and it shall pass out to the water of the spring of the sun, and its exit shall be the spring of Rogel.
8And the borders go up to the valley of Hinnom, on the back of Jebus, from the south; this is Jerusalem; and the borders go over to the top of the mountain which is before the valley of Hinnom, to the west, which is from the part of the land of the Rephaim, to the north.
9And the border goes out from the top of the mountain to the spring of water of Naphtho, and it goes out to Mount Ephron, and the border shall go out to Baal; this is the city of Jearim.
10And the boundary shall go around from Baal to the sea, and it shall pass to Mount Assares on the ridge of the city of Jearim from the north; this is Chaslon; and it shall go down to the City of the Sun, and it shall pass by to the southwest.
11And the border shall go out along the back of Akkaron northward, and the borders shall go out to Sakcharon, and it shall pass by the mountain of Bala, and it shall go out to Jabnel, and the termination of the borders shall be at the sea.
12And their borders were from the sea: the Great Sea shall define these borders for the sons of Judah all around according to their villages.
13And to Caleb son of Jephunneh he gave a portion in the midst of the sons of Judah, by the command of God, and Joshua gave to him the city of Arbok, the metropolis of Anak; this is Hebron.
14And Caleb son of Jephunneh destroyed from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Talmai and Ahiman
15And Caleb went up from there against those who were dwelling in Debir; and the name of Debir was formerly Kirjath-sepher, that is, City of letters.
16And Caleb said, Whoever takes and cuts down the city of the letters and masters it, I will give to him Achsah my daughter as a wife.
17And Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, took it, and he gave him Achsah his daughter as a wife.
