She has slaughtered her own victims, she has mixed her own wine into the bowl, and she has prepared her own table
She has sent out her servants, calling with a loud proclamation upon the mixing-bowl, saying
Whoever is foolish, let him turn aside to me, and she said to those lacking understanding of mind:
Come, eat of my bread and drink the wine which I have mixed for you.
Leave folly and you will live, and seek prudence that you may live, and set right understanding in knowledge.
He who disciplines evil men will take dishonor for himself, and he who reproves the impious will disgrace himself.
Do not reprove evil men, lest they hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you.
Give to a wise man an opportunity, and he will be wiser; make a righteous man know, and he will add to the receiving.
The beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord, and counsel of holy ones is understanding.
For by this way you will live a long time, and years of your life will be added to you.
My son, if you become wise for yourself, you will be wise also for those near you; but if you turn out wicked, you alone will draw evils.
A foolish and bold woman becomes lacking a morsel of bread, who does not know shame.
She sat at the doors of her house, on a seat, openly in the streets.
calling to those who pass by and making straight their ways
Whoever is most senseless among you, let him turn aside to me; but to those lacking understanding I exhort, saying,
Stolen bread is sweet, and secret water is pleasant.
But he does not know that earthborn ones perish beside her, and he meets on the wings of Hades.
