A man finding favor from the Lord is better, but an unlawful man will be passed over in silence.
A man will not be made upright by lawlessness, but the roots of the righteous will not be uprooted.
A courageous woman is a crown to her husband, but as a worm in wood, so a harmful woman destroys a man.
The thoughts of the righteous govern judgments, but the ungodly govern deceit.
The words of the ungodly are deceitful, but the mouth of the upright will deliver them.
Wherever the ungodly is turned, he disappears, but the houses of the righteous remain.
The mouth of the prudent is praised by a man of a sluggish heart, but it is mocked.
Better is a man serving for himself in dishonor than one putting honor around himself and lacking bread
A righteous man has pity on the lives of his cattle, but the inward parts of the ungodly are merciless.
ἐργαζόμενος τὴν ἑαυτοῦ γῆν ἐμπλησθήσεται ἄρτων οἱ δὲ διώκοντες μάταια ἐνδεεῖς φρενῶν ἐστιν ἡδὺς ἐν οἴνων διατριβαῖς ἐν τοῖς ἑαυτοῦ ὀχυρώμασιν καταλείψει ἀτιμίαν
He who works his own land will be satisfied with bread, but those who pursue vain things are lacking in understanding
The desires of the ungodly are evil, but the roots of the godly are in strongholds.
ἁμαρτίαν χειλέων ἐμπίπτει εἰς παγίδας ἁμαρτωλός ἐκφεύγει δὲ ἐξ αὐτῶν δίκαιος βλέπων λεῖα ἐλεηθήσεται ὁ δὲ συναντῶν ἐν πύλαις ἐκθλίψει ψυχάς
By the sin of lips a sinner falls into snares, but a righteous man escapes from them.
From the fruit of a man’s mouth his soul will be filled with good things, and the return of his lips will be given to him.
The ways of fools are right in their own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.
A fool on the same day reveals his anger, but the crafty man hides his own disgrace
A righteous man declares the faithfulness being shown, but the witness of the unjust is deceitful.
