From fruits of righteousness a good man shall eat, but the souls of lawless men shall perish untimely.
He who keeps his own mouth guards his own life, but the rash with lips will frighten himself.
The soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing, but the hands of the diligent are in care.
A righteous man hates an unjust word, but the ungodly man is shamed and will not have boldness.
Righteousness guards the innocent, but sin makes the ungodly evil.
There are some who make themselves rich, having nothing, and there are some who humble themselves in much wealth.
The ransom of a man’s life is his own wealth, but a poor man does not endure a threat.

Wealth gained hastily with lawlessness becomes less, but he who gathers for himself with piety will be multiplied. A righteous man has pity and lends.
