The right hand of the Lord sheltered me; the right hand of the Lord spared us.

The arm of the Lord saved us from a passing sword, from famine and from the death of sinners
Evil beasts ran upon them; with their teeth they tore their flesh, and with their molars they crushed their bones
and from all these things the Lord delivered us
The devout man was troubled because of his transgressions, lest he be taken along with the sinners.
For dreadful is the destruction of the sinner, and nothing of all these shall touch the righteous.
For the discipline of the righteous is not the same in ignorance as the destruction of sinners
The righteous is disciplined in reproof, so that the sinner may not rejoice over the righteous.
For he will admonish the righteous as a son of love, and his discipline as of a firstborn son.
For the Lord will spare his holy ones, and he will blot out their trespasses in discipline.
For the life of the righteous is unto the age, but sinners will be taken away unto destruction, and their memorial will no longer be found.
But upon the pious is the mercy of the Lord, and upon those fearing him is his mercy.
