Lord, thou thyself art our king forever and still, because in thee, O God, our soul will boast.

and what is the time of a man’s life upon the earth according to his time, and his hope upon him
But we will hope in God our savior, because the might of our God is forever with mercy, and the kingdom of our God is forever over the nations in judgment
You, Lord, chose David as king over Israel, and you swore to him concerning his seed forever, that his kingdom would not fail before you
And in our sins sinners rose up against us; they attacked us and drove us out, to whom you did not promise; with violence they took away, and they did not glorify your honored name.
In glory they set up a kingdom; instead of their height they laid waste the throne of David in arrogance of exchange.
And you, O God, will cast them down and will remove their offspring from the earth, when a man of a foreign race rises up against them, from our race.
According to their sins you will repay them, O God, to be found for them according to their works
God did not have mercy on them; he searched out their seed, and he did not leave one of them.
The Lord is faithful in all his judgments which he does upon the earth.
The lawless man has laid waste our land, from those inhabiting it; they have made away young man and old man and their children together
In the wrath of his beauty he sent them forth as far as the west, and the rulers of the earth to mockery, and he did not spare
In foreignness the enemy acted arrogantly, and his heart is alien from our God
and all that he did in Jerusalem, just as also the nations in the cities of their strength
And the sons of the covenant were ruling over them in the midst of mingled nations; there was not among them one doing mercy and truth in Jerusalem.
Those who love the assemblies of the holy ones fled from among them; they were scattered like sparrows from their nests.
They wandered in deserts to save their souls from evil, and a soul saved from among them was precious in the eyes of the sojourning.
Their dispersion became over all the land under lawless men, because the heaven held back from raining down rain upon the land
The eternal springs were restrained from the abysses, from high mountains, because there was not in them one doing righteousness and judgment.
From their ruler and least people in every sin, the king in lawlessness and the judge in disobedience and the people in sin
See, O Lord, and raise up for them their king, the son of David, at the time which you chose, O God, for him to reign over Israel your servant.
And gird him with strength to shatter unrighteous rulers, to cleanse Jerusalem from nations trampling in destruction.
In the wisdom of righteousness to drive out sinners from the inheritance, to shatter the pride of the sinner like a potter’s vessels
with an iron rod to crush all their substance, to destroy the lawless nations by the word of his mouth
At his threat the nations will flee from before him, and he will rebuke sinners by the word of their heart.
And he will gather a holy people whom he will lead in righteousness, and he will judge the tribes of a people sanctified by the Lord God of him
and he will not allow unrighteousness to dwell any longer in their midst, and no man who knows evil will dwell with them, for he will know them, that they are all sons of God
And he will apportion them in their tribal divisions on the land, and a sojourner and foreigner will not sojourn among them anymore.
He will judge peoples and nations in the wisdom of his righteousness. Selah
And he will have peoples of nations serving him under his yoke, and he will glorify the Lord in a distinguished place of all the earth, and he will cleanse Jerusalem in holiness, as also that from the beginning
nations come from the ends of the earth to see his glory, bringing gifts, her weakened sons, and to see the glory of the Lord, with which God glorified her.
And he himself is a righteous king, taught by God over them, and there is no injustice in his days in their midst, because all are holy, and their king is the anointed of the Lord
For he will not hope in horse and rider and bow, nor will he multiply for himself gold and silver for war, and with many peoples he will not gather hopes for a day of war
The Lord himself is his king; the hope of the mighty is in the hope of God, and he will have mercy on all the nations before him in fear.
For he will strike the earth with the word of his mouth forever; he will bless the people of the Lord in wisdom with gladness
And he himself is pure from sin, to rule a great people, to rebuke rulers and to remove sinners by the strength of the word
And he will not be weak in his days, upon his God, because God has made him mighty in Holy Spirit and wise in the counsel of understanding, with strength and righteousness
and the blessing of the Lord is with him in strength and he will not grow weak
His hope is upon the Lord, and who is able against him?
Mighty in his works and strong in the fear of God, shepherding the flock of the Lord in faith and righteousness, and he will not let the weak be weakened among them in their pasture.
In equality he will lead them all, and there will not be among them pride for them to be oppressed among them.
This is the glory of the king of Israel, which God knew to raise him up over the house of Israel, to discipline him
His words are refined more than the first choice gold; in assemblies he will judge the tribes of the sanctified people. His words are as the words of holy ones in the midst of sanctified peoples.
Blessed are those who came to be in those days, to see the good things of Israel in the gathering of the tribes which God will do
May God hasten his mercy upon Israel; may he deliver us from the uncleanness of profane enemies.
The Lord himself is our king forever and ever.
