When I called, the God of my righteousness heard me; in distress you made room for me. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
Sons of men, until when will you be heavy-hearted? Why do you love vanity and seek falsehood? Pause
And know that the Lord has made his holy one wondrous; the Lord will hear me when I cry to him.
Be angry, and do not sin; say in your hearts and upon your beds, and be pierced. Selah
Offer sacrifices of righteousness, and hope in the Lord.
Many say, Who will show us good things? The light of your face, O Lord, has been marked upon us.
You have put gladness in my heart; from the time of their grain and wine and oil they were multiplied.
In peace I will lie down together and sleep, for you, Lord, alone have caused me to dwell in hope.
