I will sing and understand in a blameless way; when will you come to me? I was passing through in the innocence of my heart in the midst of my house.
I did not set before my eyes a lawless deed; I hated those committing transgressions.
A crooked heart did not cleave to me; when the evil one turned away from me, I did not know.
καταλαλοῦντα λάθρᾳ τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ τοῦτον ἐξεδίωκον ὑπερηφάνῳ ὀφθαλμῷ καὶ ἀπλήστῳ καρδίᾳ τούτῳ οὐ συνήσθιον
The one speaking against his neighbor in secret, this one I drove out; with haughty eye and insatiable heart, with this one I did not eat.
ὀφθαλμοί μου ἐπὶ τοὺς πιστοὺς τῆς γῆς τοῦ συγκαθῆσθαι αὐτοὺς μετ᾿ ἐμοῦ πορευόμενος ἐν ὁδῷ ἀμώμῳ οὗτός μοι ἐλειτούργει
My eyes are on the faithful of the land, for them to sit together with me; the one walking in a blameless way, this one ministered to me
κατῴκει ἐν μέσῳ τῆς οἰκίας μου ποιῶν ὑπερηφανίαν λαλῶν ἄδικα οὐ κατεύθυνεν ἐναντίον τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν μου
He that was doing pride did not dwell in the midst of my house; he that was speaking unjust things did not prosper before my eyes.
τὰς πρωίας ἀπέκτεννον πάντας τοὺς ἁμαρτωλοὺς τῆς γῆς τοῦ ἐξολεθρεῦσαι ἐκ πόλεως κυρίου πάντας τοὺς ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν
In the mornings I was killing all the sinners of the land, to destroy from the city of the Lord all who do lawlessness
