Who will speak the mighty deeds of the Lord, will make all his praises heard?
Blessed are they who keep judgment and do righteousness at all times
Remember us, Lord, in the favor of your people; visit us in your salvation.
to see in the goodness of your chosen ones, to rejoice in the gladness of your nation, to be praised with your inheritance
We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed lawlessness, we have acted unjustly
Our fathers in Egypt did not understand your wonders; they did not remember the multitude of your mercy, and they provoked you, going up by the Red Sea.
And he saved them for the sake of his name, to make known his dominion.
And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up, and he guided them in the deep as in a desert
And he saved them from the hand of those hating them, and he redeemed them from the hand of an enemy
And water covered those afflicting them; not one of them was left behind
And they believed his words, and they sang his praise
They hastened; they forgot his works; they did not wait for his counsel.
And they desired a desire in the wilderness and they tested God in a waterless place
And he gave them their request, and he sent fullness into their souls.
And they provoked Moses in the camp and Aaron, the holy one of the Lord
The earth was opened and swallowed Dathan, and covered over the congregation of Abiron.
And fire was kindled in their assembly; a flame burned up sinners.
And they made a calf in Horeb and worshiped the carved image
And they exchanged their glory for the likeness of a calf eating grass
They forgot God, who saves them, who did great things in Egypt.
Wonders in the land of Ham, fearful things at the Red Sea
And he said to destroy them, unless Moses his chosen stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath, so as not to destroy them.
And they despised a desirable land; they did not believe his word.
And they murmured in their tents; they did not listen to the voice of the Lord.
And he lifted up his hand against them, to cast them down in the wilderness
and to cast down their seed among the nations and to scatter them among the lands
And they were consecrated to Beelphegor, and they ate sacrifices of the dead.
And they provoked him by their practices, and the downfall was multiplied among them.
And Phinehas stood and made atonement, and the slaughter ceased.
And it was counted to him for righteousness, for generation and generation, forever.
And they angered him at the water of strife, and Moses was afflicted because of them
Because they provoked his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.
They did not destroy the nations, which the Lord said to them.
And they mingled among the nations and learned their works.
And they served their carved images, and it became to them for a stumbling block.
And they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons
And they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the carved images of Canaan, and the land was polluted with the bloods.
And they were defiled by their works, and they committed fornication in their pursuits.
And the Lord was angry with wrath against his people, and he abhorred his inheritance.
And he gave them into the hands of nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.
And their enemies afflicted them, and they were humbled under their hands.
Many times he delivered them, but they embittered him in their counsel, and they were brought low in their lawless deeds.
And he saw in their being afflicted, in his hearing their supplication.
And he remembered his covenant and repented according to the abundance of his mercy
And he gave them into compassions before all those who had taken them captive
Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to boast in your praise.
Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, from the age and unto the age. And let all the people say, Amen, Amen.
