Let my prayer be directed as incense before you, the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice.
Set, O Lord, a guard to my mouth, and a door of enclosure around my lips.
ἐκκλίνῃς τὴν καρδίαν μου εἰς λόγους πονηρίας τοῦ προφασίζεσθαι προφάσεις ἐν ἁμαρτίαις σὺν ἀνθρώποις ἐργαζομένοις ἀνομίαν καὶ οὐ μὴ συνδυάσω μετὰ τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν αὐτῶν
Do not incline my heart to words of wickedness, to make excuses for excuses in sins with men working lawlessness, and I shall certainly not join with their chosen ones
με δίκαιος ἐν ἐλέει καὶ ἐλέγξει με ἔλαιον δὲ ἁμαρτωλοῦ μὴ λιπανάτω τὴν κεφαλήν μου ὅτι ἔτι καὶ ἡ προσευχή μου ἐν ταῖς εὐδοκίαις αὐτῶν
Let the righteous man discipline me in mercy, and let him rebuke me; but let not the oil of a sinner anoint my head, for even yet my prayer is among their pleasures.
Their judges have been swallowed up beside the rock; they will hear my words, for they have been made pleasant.
As when the thickness of the earth is broken up on the earth, our bones were scattered beside Hades
For to you, Lord, Lord, my eyes are toward you I have hoped; do not take away my soul.
Keep me from the snare that they have set for me, and from the stumbling blocks of those who work lawlessness.
Sinners will fall into his net; I am alone until I pass by.
