For the end, a psalm of David

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.

Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge

There are no speeches nor words whose voices are not heard.

Into all the earth their voice went out, and into the ends of the inhabited world their words. In the sun he set his tent.

And he himself is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; he will rejoice like a giant to run his course.

From the end of heaven is his going out, and his descent is to the end of heaven, and there is no one who will hide himself from his heat.

The law of the Lord is blameless, turning back souls; the testimony of the Lord is faithful, making infants wise.

The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever and ever; the judgments of the Lord are true, justified together.

more to be desired than gold and much precious stone, and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb

For even your servant keeps them; in keeping them there is much recompense.

Who will understand transgressions? From my hidden things cleanse me.

And from strangers spare your servant; if they do not lord it over me, then I shall be blameless and shall be cleansed from great sin.

And the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart shall be for favor before you always, O Lord, my helper and my redeemer
