O Lord, in your strength the king will rejoice, and in your salvation he will greatly exult.
You gave him the desire of his soul, and you did not deprive him of the will of his lips. Selah
For you met him beforehand with blessings of goodness; you set on his head a crown from precious stone.
He asked you for life, and you gave him length of days forever and ever.
Great is his glory in your salvation; glory and majesty you will place upon him.
For you will give him blessing forever and ever; you will gladden him with joy with your face
For the king trusts in the Lord, and in the mercy of the Most High he shall not be shaken.
May your hand be found by all your enemies; may your right hand find all those who hate you.
You will make them like a furnace of fire at the time of your face; the Lord in his wrath will disturb them, and fire will consume them.
Their fruit you will destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of men
For they have turned evil against you; they have planned a counsel which they will surely not be able to establish.
For you will make them a back; in your remnant you will prepare their face.
Be exalted, O Lord, in your power; we will sing and make melody of your mighty acts.
