In you, Lord, I hoped; let me not be put to shame forever. In your righteousness rescue me and deliver me.
Incline your ear to me; hasten to deliver me. Be for me a God who shelters and for a house of refuge to save me.
For you are my strength and my refuge, and for the sake of your name you will guide me and nourish me
You will bring me out from this snare which they hid for me, for you are my defender
Into your hands I will commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth.
You have hated those who guard vanities in vain, but I have hoped in the Lord.
I will exult and be glad in your mercy, because you regarded my humiliation; you saved my soul from necessities.
and you did not shut me up into the hands of an enemy; you set my feet in a broad place
Have mercy on me, Lord, because I am afflicted; my eye has been troubled with anger, my soul and my belly.
For my life has failed in pain, and my years in groanings; my strength has weakened in poverty, and my bones were troubled.
I have become a reproach beyond all my enemies and exceedingly so to my neighbors, and a fear to those who know me; those seeing me outside fled from me
I have been forgotten like one dead; I have become like a lost vessel.
For I heard the blame of many dwelling around, when they were gathered together in one against me, they took counsel to seize my soul.
But I have hoped in you, O Lord; I said, You are my God.
In your hands are my times; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who pursue me
Make your face shine upon your servant; save me in your mercy.
O Lord, let me not be put to shame, because I called upon you; let the ungodly be put to shame and be brought down into Hades.
Let the deceitful lips be made silent, which speak lawlessness against the righteous one in pride and with contempt
How great is the abundance of your kindness, O Lord, which you have hidden for those who fear you; you worked for those who hope in you before the sons of men
You will hide them in the hiding place of your face from the turmoil of men; you will shelter them in a tent from the strife of tongues.
Blessed is the Lord, for he has made his mercy wondrous in a city of enclosure.
But I said in my ecstasy, I am cast out then from before your eyes; therefore you heard the voice of my supplication when I cried to you
Love the Lord, all his holy ones, for the Lord seeks truth and repays those who do excess in arrogance.
Be strong, and let your heart be strengthened, all who hope in the Lord.
