Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, his holy mountain.
Beautiful in elevation, the joy of all the earth, is Mount Zion, the sides of the north, the city of the great king.
God is known in her strongholds when he takes hold of her
For behold, the kings were gathered; they came together.
They themselves, having seen thus, marveled, were troubled, were shaken.
Trembling seized them there, pangs as of one giving birth.
With a violent wind you will shatter ships of Tarshish
ἠκούσαμεν οὕτως εἴδομεν ἐν πόλει κυρίου τῶν δυνάμεων ἐν πόλει τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ὁ θεὸς ἐθεμελίωσεν αὐτὴν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διάψαλμα
As we heard, so we saw in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God; God established it forever. Selah
We have received, O God, your mercy in the midst of your temple
According to your name, O God, so also is your praise to the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.
Let Mount Zion rejoice; let the daughters of Judea exult because of your judgments, O Lord.
Encircle Zion and surround her; recount it in her towers.
τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν εἰς τὴν δύναμιν αὐτῆς καὶ καταδιέλεσθε τὰς βάρεις αὐτῆς ὅπως ἂν διηγήσησθε εἰς γενεὰν ἑτέραν
Set your hearts upon her power, and divide her bulwarks, so that you may tell it to another generation.
οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος αὐτὸς ποιμανεῖ ἡμᾶς εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας
For this is God, our God, forever and ever; he himself will shepherd us unto the ages
