For the end, concerning the people far removed from the holy ones, for David, for a pillar-writing, when the foreigners seized him in Geth
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for a man has trampled me; all the day fighting has afflicted me.
My enemies trampled me all the day long, for many are those fighting me from on high.
In the day I will be afraid, but I will hope in you.
In God I will praise my words; all the day I have hoped in God; I will not be afraid. What will flesh do to me?
All the day long they abhorred my words; all their thoughts against me were for evil.
They will lodge and hide; they themselves will watch my heel, just as they waited for my soul.
For nothing you will save them; in wrath you will bring down peoples, O God.
My life I declared to you; you set my tears before you, as also in your promise
My enemies will turn back, in whatever day I call upon you; behold, I know that you are my God.
In God I will praise a word; in the Lord I will praise a saying
In God I have hoped; I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?
On me are the vows, O God, which I will repay to you with praise
For you have rescued my soul from death and my feet from stumbling, so that I may be well-pleasing before God in the light of the living
